Peggy's Story

After being injured in a motorcycle accident that wasn’t her fault, Peggy couldn’t work in her motorcycle shop and had trouble paying her medical bills.  If it wasn’t for Beacon Legal Finance coming to the rescue, Peggy doesn’t know how she would have gotten by.

Peggy was on her way home from a friend’s house when another driver failed to yield her right of way and made a left turn directly into her motorcycle. Because of the accident, Peggy suffered numerous injuries and quickly accumulated more than $55,000 in medical bills.

After her accident, Peggy hired an attorney, but still couldn’t work and needed money while waiting for her settlement. She searched the internet for “lawsuit funding” and found a number of companies that offered “pre-settlement funding” and “lawsuit cash advances.” Peggy learned that she wouldn’t have to pay any fees until her case settled, and if she didn’t win, she didn’t owe any money.
Beacon Legal Finance stood out among all other companies. They treated Peggy with care and professionalism, and made the entire process easy. Beacon Legal Finance provided her with the financial assistance she needed.

Mandy's Story

After being injured in a car accident that wasn’t her fault, Mandy was unable to work and at the same time managed to accumulate $6,000 in medical bills. While she waited for her lawsuit to settle, Beacon Legal Finance gave Mandy the cash she needed to stay on her feet.

One morning after dropping her two kids off at school, Mandy continued driving to work, just as she does every morning. She was stopped in rush hour traffic when another driver sped around a curve in the road and struck Mandy from behind at 30 mph. Mandy suffered back injuries and two fractured fingers, which forced her to take time off her job as a paraprofessional. She hired a lawyer, but lawsuits take time to settle and Mandy needed financial assistance.

Searching the internet for “lawsuit funding,” Mandy found a number of companies that provide “cash advances” and “pre-settlement funding” to accident victims who are waiting for their lawsuits to settle.

Mandy found Beacon Legal Finance to be her saving grace. Beacon Legal really cared about Mandy and made the whole process easy, and Mandy learned that she won’t owe any money until her lawsuit settles, and if it doesn’t, she won’t have to pay back anything.

Angela's Story

Being a victim of medical malpractice, Angela’s medical bills soon amounted to more than she could pay for. But with a lawsuit cash advance from Beacon Legal Finance, Angela was able to receive the cash she needed to keep financially afloat while waiting for a settlement of her lawsuit.

Angela, a wife and mother of three, had just had a tubal ligation – a procedure that clamps her fallopian tubes shut, but which can be removed when she was ready for another child. After she came out of surgery, her doctor told her the procedure went well and sent her home that afternoon to rest. Later that evening however, Angela got dizzy and fainted, and had to be rushed to the emergency room. The doctors decided Angela needed emergency surgery and discovered bleeding and blood clots in her abdomen due to a laceration of part of her fallopian tube. It was determined that the best course of action was to perform a partial hysterectomy, which meant Angela would never be able to have another child.

Because of the mental trauma and suffering that Angela went through, due to mistakes made on the part of the doctors who originally treated her, Angela decided to file a medical malpractice lawsuit. While her attorney assured her that she would ultimately be able to collect damages, Angela still had the problem of trying to figure out how to pay her medical bills until she received her legal settlement.

With medical bills now over $25,000, Angela searched the Internet for “lawsuit funding” and found a variety of companies that offer “cash advances” to clients who agree to pay back a portion of their settlement. And if the lawsuit doesn’t settle, the client doesn’t have to pay back the advance.

After much searching Angela came across Beacon Legal Finance. Beacon seemed to be different than the other companies. Beacon made the process easy and free of red tape while treating her with professionalism and concern. They eased her financial worries by advancing her the cash she needed, and only if and when her lawsuit is either won or settled will she have to pay Beacon Legal Finance back the money they advanced.
